The Problem

When I joined Yeet, the brand was in an early growth phase, actively exploring how it wanted to present itself visually. The team was open to experimentation, with a clear intention to evolve the brand’s look and feel as the business matured. This created a need for strong visual direction, consistency, and scalability as the agency grew.

My role was to help shape and formalise that direction working closely with the client to test ideas, explore visual styles, and gradually define a cohesive identity that aligned with Yeet’s ambitions.

The challenge

During a period of growth and exploration, Yeet was refining its visual language across platforms while operating within a template-based website, making it essential to align visuals and messaging into a clear, consistent, and strategic system.

My Approach

Visual Exploration & Testing

Instead of choosing a direction upfront, I ran A/B design testing using static posts and ads with input from the CEO.

This allowed us to:

• Test different visual styles in live environments

• Gather internal feedback from the client (the CEO)

• Identify patterns in what resonated most

• Over time, bold, structured visuals consistently performed best.

Research-Led Style Direction

Based on testing and research, I developed a hybrid visual style combining, Neo-Brutalism for confidence, structure, and impact; and Y2K influences for energy, modernity, and cultural relevance

This ensured the identity was intentional and informed,

not trend-driven.

Website Redesign

Working within a rigid website template, the opportunity was to rework structure and content to better connect visuals with services, clarify Yeet’s differentiation, and introduce a more cohesive strategic narrative.

Concept & Execution

Chess emerged as a strong strategic metaphor, allowing Yeet’s six services to be positioned as a cohesive system rather than standalone offerings. I used this framework to restructure the website, align visuals and messaging, and introduce strategic, playful CTAs like “Make your move.”
